One of the Bitcoin millionaire in the world is a 19-year-old from San Francisco, whose name is Erik Finman. As early as 12, has started his hobby for cryptocurrency. His grandmother gave him $1,000 and he invested in Bitcoin for the first time.

3 years after Erik invested for the first time, he sold the Bitcoin worth $100,000. With this amount, he started his educational business, “Botangle”.

Finman created the Botangle business just because he hadn’t a good experience with his teachers. His family has always emphasized the idea of education, but his teachers didn’t encourage him.

In 2015, Erik sold Botangle’s technology. He had 2 options: to receive 300 Bitcoin or $100,000 cash.

Finman assumed the risk to accept the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin’s value t that moment was $200, but now it values $6,500.

“Bitcoin will either be nothing or everything, and I think it will be more everything,” he said.

Big plans- Finman’s projects include space exploration, robots, education

Inspired by supervillain Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man, Finman created a robot suit for a 10-year-old boy who has mobility issues.

In this moment, Finman is working for NASA. He aims to send a satellite with a digital time capsule, containing sounds of life on Earth and he also will send a Taylor Swift CD.

He also plans to build a physical school in the future.

Finman put a bet with his parents and he won it before his 18th birthday. He bet on becoming millionaire in Bitcoin before 18-year-old. He wanted to quit the school if he would made $1 million. His parents didn’t sustain him to dropping out the school, taking in account that both of them are Stanford graduates.

In a picture on Instagram he is lying in bed covered in money: “Cash so worthless compared to Bitcoin I’m sleeping on it.”
