Vitalik Buterin, the creator of Ethereum network, declared on Tweeter a few days ago that he received a possible job offer from Google.
An engineering recruiter from Google suggested Buterin to join the technology that “make sense in the near future.” This information appeared on a tweet on Buterin’s page of the e-mail sent by the recruiter.
A screenshot of the tweet. Vitalik Buterin deleted the original uncensored picture most likely due to privacy reasons.
We don’t know exactly what the real reason was why Vitalik removed the tweet but seems that in the screenshot was appearing the name of the women that sent the email to Buterin.
The diffusion of the personal information could have negative effects for the affected person. It could also be a strategy from Google to keep secret.
After Buterin published the screenshot on his Tweeter, there were made some correlations with the e-mail address. Indeed, the person that sent the e-mail to Vitalik was from Google.
The fact that the person that sent the e-mail works for Google, this doesn’t mean exactly that reflects the interests of the entire company.
Before Vitalik removed the post from his Tweeter, the 59% thought that Vitalik would quit the Ethereum Project.
The tweet that published Vitalik was rather one with a comic connotation. Vitalik is not the type of person to just leave so easy the Ethereum project.
A possible leaving of the Ethereum project could influence the price in a negative way. Vitalik is considered the mastermind of the blockchain and the defection at this project could influence the market.
Quite the opposite, Vitalik invested even more his energy and time in projects to improve the Ethereum network. The most relevant project is Gasper protocol- the migration from PoW to PoS.
Another success project is Sharding technology- you can add blocks every 10 seconds, instead of 10 minutes. A real improvement!
Google Joins a Group of Prestigious Companies That Are Investing in Blockchain Implementations
The reason that someone from Google contacted Vitalik was for their interest about the blockchain technologies implementation. A spokesperson declared to Bloomberg:
“Like many new technologies, we have individuals in various teams exploring potential use of blockchain, but it’s too early for us to speculate about any possible uses or plans”
Google’s discussions with Vitalik could be a sign of the high level of interest and attention that Google is paying to these technologies.
