Students from Spain, Argentina and Venezuela will learn of Bitcoin , Ethereum and other coins, as well as Blockchain and crypto-economics. Several universities in these countries have already introduced cryptocurrency courses. The universities announced that courses on crypto will take place due to the high interest of students in said subject.
Cryptocurrency Courses in Spain
Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, is an Unesco university. They implemented the course “Master in Ethereum, Blockchain Technology and Crypto-Economics.” The course is dedicated not only to students, but also to professionals and anybody interested in cryptocurrency and Blockchain based technologies. Cryptocurrencies can be studied from three points of view: technological, financial and regulatory.
Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), is the second university that offers a course about “Blockchain: from cryptocurrencies to business networks.” Students will organize round-table discussions about “possible models and business networks based on Blockchain”. More than that, they will learn about the technical foundations of the Bitcoin Blockchain.
Universidad Europea Madrid has more than 16.000 students. The school offers a 6-month postgraduate diploma in Bitcoin and blockchain which starts in October 2018. The course includes 6 modules: Blockchain technology, basics of Bitcoin, security and investigation of the Blockchain, legal aspects linked to cryptocurrency, innovation with the blockchain and project development.
Cryptocurrency Courses in Argentina
Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA) is a private university focusing on information technology, business and engineering studies. The institute offers a diploma course entitled “Cryptoeconomics: blockchain intelligent contracts and cryptocurrencies”. The course runs from July 11 through September 26. According to the institute, “the program aims to teach those who want to understand the world of cryptocurrencies […] and the different types of blockchains“.
Courses on crypto in Venezuela
The Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración (IESA) also introduced courses about cryptocurrencies. Students can now attend “Cryptocurrency, blockchain and business in the new economy, opportunities and challenges for management and business.” According to the university, the courses focus on cryptocurrencies as a step in the evolution of money. In addition, students will learn about “international experiences in the regulation of Bitcoin and blockchain technology”.
